All About Leicester Discus
I started keeping discus in 1978 and I have been
breeding and importing discus since 1994. In
addition we are Licensed by the LCC, and our premises
have been vet inspected and apporved.
In 1999 I decided to visit some of the discus farms
in Singapore and to choose and collect my own discus
from these farms. I decided to bring back discus
from Akai Discus and Chai Discus Singapore.
Both have won many awards at Aquarama and Duisberg and
are well known for having an outstanding collection of
show quality Discus.
I have also made two trips to Wayne Discus Centre,
Hong Kong and in China. Wayne sells some of the
best Blue variety I have ever seen
 In June this year I went back to one of my favourite
countries Singapore! This time I collected
fish from David Lim of Fishio Tribe. David Lim has
often been described as the king of spotted discus!
He was the winner of 6th National Discus competition in
Singapore - Grand Champion, and was also the Grand
Champion winner at Aquarama 2003 for his Scarlet
Spotted.
I can certainly confirm that David Lim stocks some of
the best spotted varieties in the world!
We are the sole supplier of Discus from Fishio Tribe
in the UK! And as a result we can confirm that we stock
the his award winning Scarlet Spotted strain.
